Quilt making is everything to me! The quilts I make are inspired by your stories, my life experiences, and the world around me. I use a variety of art forms and textiles to create custom quilts that transform ordinary materials and personal mementos into treasured objects that can be passed down from generation to generation. My quilts have been featured across the country in museums, quilt exhibits, and national publications. I share my expertise with new and seasoned quilters challenging them with new techniques that will take their design to new heights.
Watercolor painting is a perfect medium to express the beauty and wonder that surrounds us! I am able to combine my passions of painting and bring that to my textile designs to create my art quilts. I completed the Fine Art and Surface and Textile Design Certificate programs at Otis School of Art & Design in Los Angeles. I completed a series of art classes including composition, drawing and color theory at Art Center School of Design in Pasadena California. I have studied with watercolor artists Donna Barnes Roberts, Robert O'Brien and Fealing Lin. I will continue to study with the finest artists available to me. Education and continued inspiration is important to me as an artist.
